Cape Town Olympian Michele Eray won the most recent leg of the Discovery Mens Health Surfski Series, and she's aiming to continue her good form on the West Coast on Saturday.
Michele is using the series, like Dawid Mocke, to train for the Dubai-Shamaal, which sees a huge increase in prize money for the current season. Whilst she enjoys the sprint discipline of K1 racing, Michele said that she is planning on switching her focus to surfski racing for 2009, where she is planning to compete on the international circuit. Following that, she will make her dec! ision as far as the Olympics of 2012 are concerned.
