Owens CutThe Dallas Cowboys released Terrell Owens late last night. T.O. caused a lot of drama in Big D last season and his biggest supporter, owner Jerry Jones finally said enough is enough. The release of T.O. one year after his huge extension, will cost the Cowboys a huge cap hit. This just goes to show how bad it really got in the Cowboys locker room. T.O. had conflicts with QB Tony Romo, offensive coordinator Jason Garrett, and TE Jason Witten t! his past season. T.O. also caused fellow WRs Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton to speak out about not receiving enough passes and Romo's favoritism towards Witten. The only solution to the Cowboys drama was to part ways with T.O.
What next for Dallas?

The Cowboys have finally ridded themselves of Jerry Jones troublemakers. Tank Johnson is a free agent, Pacman was cut earlier this offseason, and T.O. was released yesterday. The Cowboys can now finally mov! e on without all the drama. SS Roy Williams was also released ! today, a fter he asked to be cut two days prior. The Cowboys do not need another WR. They have Roy Williams and Patrick Crayton on the outside, and Miles Austin in the slot. The team also has TE Jason Witten who is their best receiving threat. The Cowboys have three solid RBs in Marion Barber, Felix Jones, and Tashard Choice. It is expected that Dallas will be a run first team next season. The Cowboys could go after free agent WR Marvin Harrison or soon to be released WR Torry Holt. But, Dallas may not have the necessary cap room to sign a high profile passing threat. Dallas would also like to extend OLB DeMarcus Ware, who would likely wish to become the highest paid defensive player ever. The Cowboys will be a better team without Team Obliderator.
What is next for T.O.?

Terrell Owens has worn out his welcome in three different cities. First San Francisco, then Philadelphia, and now Dallas. The question of, who out there would risk signing the troubled wideout, has now arisen. T.O. is not getting any younger, and with the amount of dollars he will demand their many not be many suitors. The first team that comes to mind is the Oakland Raiders. Al Davis loves the bad boys, and the Raiders could use a solid WR to help QB JaMarcus Russell. But, if Jeff Garcia, Donovan McNabb, and Tony Romo could not tolerate Owens, how could an unproven and inexperienced QB in Russell handle T.O. any better. 29 of the 32 NFL teams have already said they are not interested. The Sa! ints would be another interesting spot for T.O. to land. Drew ! Brees ne eds a top flight wide receiver, but Sean Payton is a Bill Parcells guy, and the Tuna and Owens were never very close. The Cardinals are one of the teams who did not deny interest, but with Fitzgerald and Boldin it would be an unlikely destination. Seattle just signed T.J. Houshmanzadeh, so cross them off as well. The Jets and Giants both have no interest either. Right now, I would say Oakland is the most likely destination.
